Meet The Team

Dr. Diehl attended Emory University School of Medicine.  Her internship and residency were also completed at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.  She served as Chief Resident at Grady Hospital, and subsequently was an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry until 2000.  She has worked in private practice for ten years at Northwest Behavioral Medicine and Research Center, and has research experience.  She has clinical experience in treating a wide array of psychiatric disorders. She has a special interest in treating mood disorders in pregnancy and post partum.

Jean Taylor obtained her MS in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing at St. Joseph College, Hartford, Connecticut. Her ten years with the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital Network, a well known private psychiatric institution, included responsibilities on inpatient units, day programs, and outpatient settings. After relocating to the Atlanta area, Jean has worked many years with the Cobb/Douglas Community Service Board, performing psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management. Jean has been a great addition to Psychiatric Health Professionals by bringing her vast array of skills and experience in working with patients with a wide range of psychiatric illnesses.

Mrs. Brown completed her Medical Office Training at Georgia Medical Institute in Marietta. She worked with Dr. Diehl at Northwest Behavioral Medicine, and has now joined her at Psychiatric Health Professionals as the Office Manager. She is a member of the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and has fifteen years of combined Administrative and Customer Service experience. She is a true professional in her field.

Tanish brings her years of expertise in the medical field to her new position as billing administrator. She is native to Georgia, and has over thirteen years of experience in Medical Office Administration. She previously worked with Dr. Diehl at Northwest Behavioral Medicine for five years. She now rejoins her, and brings with her the highest quality of service, professionalism, and dedication to our patients at Psychiatric Health Professionals.
